। আবূ হুরাইরাহ্ (রাঃ) বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছিঃ তোমাদের কেউ যখন ঘুম থেকে জাগে, তখন তিনবার হাত না ধুয়ে যেন পানির পাত্রে তা না ডুবায়। কারণ, তার জানা নেই তার হাত কোথায় ছিল অথবা কোথায় ঘুরাফেরা করছিল।[1] সহীহ
Abu Hurairah reported :I heard the Messenger of Allah (May Peace be upon him) say: When any of you wakes up from sleep, he should not put his hand in the utensil until he washes it three times, for none of you knows where his hand remained during the night or where it went round
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم - يَعْنِي بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ - قَالَ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثًا وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَبَا رَزِينٍ .
। আবূ হুরাইরাহ্ (রাঃ) হতে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম সূত্রে উপরোক্ত হাদীসের অনুরূপ বর্ণিত আছে। তবে তাতে দুই অথবা তিনবার করে হাত ধোয়ার কথা উল্লেখ আছে এবং এর সানাদে আবূ রযীন নামক পূর্ববর্তী একজন বর্ণনাকারীর নাম উল্লেখ নেই।[1] সহীহ; তিনবার হাত ধোয়াই হচ্ছে অধিকাংশের মত।
This Tradition has been reported by Abu Hurairah through another chain of transmitters. It adds :“ twice or thrice.” This version does not mention Abu Razin
। ‘উসমান ইবনু ‘আফফান (রাঃ)-এর মু্ক্তদাস হুমরান ইবনু আবান সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি ‘উসমান ইবনু ‘আফফান (রাঃ)-কে অযু করতে দেখেছি। তিনি প্রথমে উভয় হাতে তিনবার করে পানি দিয়ে ধুয়ে নিলেন। এরপর কুলি করলেন, নাকে পানি দিলেন এবং তিনবার মুখমন্ডল ধুলেন। তারপর ডান হাত কনুই পর্যন্ত তিনবার ধুলেন, বাম হাতও অনুরূপ করলেন। এরপর মাথা মাসাহ্ করলেন। এরপর তিনবার ডান পা ধুলেন, বাম পাও অনুরূপ করলেন। সর্বশেষে বললেনঃ রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে আমি আমার এই অযুর ন্যায় অযু করতে দেখেছি। অতঃপর তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) বলেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি আমার এই অযুর মত অযু করে দু’ রাক‘আত সালাত আদায় করবে, যাতে তার মনে কোনরূপ পার্থিব চিন্তা আসবে না, আল্লাহ তার পূর্ববর্তী সকল গুনাহ ক্ষমা করে দিবেন।[1] সহীহ : বুখারী ও মুসলিম।
Humran b. Abban, the freed slave of ‘Uthman, said :I saw ‘ Uthman’ b. ‘Affan while he performed ablution. He poured water over his hands three times and then washed them. He then rinsed his mouth and then cleansed his nose with water (three times). He then washed his right arm up to the elbow three times, then washed his left arm in a similar manner; then wiped his head; then washed his right foot three times, then washed his left foot in a similar manner, and then said : I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performing ablution like this ablution of mine. Then he (the Prophet) said: He who performs ablution like this ablution of mine and then offered two rakhahs of prayer without allowing his thoughts to be distracted, Allah will pardon all his past sins
। আবূ হুরাইরাহ্ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তোমাদের কেউ রাত্রে জাগ্রত হলে সে যেন নিজের হাত তিনবার না ধুয়ে (পানির) পাত্রে হাত ডুবিয়ে না দেয়। কারণ তার জানা নেই (ঘুমের অবস্থায়) তার হাত কোথায় রাত কাটিয়েছে।[1] সহীহ : মুসলিম, বুখারী, তিনবার কথাটি বাদে।
