Surah 'Abasa (“He frowned”) is the 80th surah of the Quran: a Makkan surah of 42 ayahs.
Background
Revealed in Makkah when the blind companion ‘Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum came to learn while the Prophet ﷺ was speaking to Quraysh leaders.

The opening ayahs
عَبَسَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ ١
The Prophet frowned and turned away
أَن جَآءَهُ ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ ٢
Because there came to him the blind man, [interrupting].
وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ ٣
But what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purified

মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ; রাসূলুল্লাহ ﷺ যখন কুরাইশ নেতাদের সাথে কথা বলছিলেন, তখন অন্ধ সাহাবি আবদুল্লাহ ইবনে উম্মে মাকতূম (রা.) শিখতে এসেছিলেন।
