Surah Al-Haqqah (“The Reality”) is the 69th surah of the Quran: a Makkan surah of 52 ayahs.

A Makkan surah named al-Haqqah, the reality that must come to pass — the Day of Judgement — told with overwhelming force.

- Thamud and ‘Ad destroyed by the blast and the wind
- The one given his record in his right hand: “Here, read my book!” (19)
- The one given it in his left hand, wishing it were never given (25)
- It is the word of a noble messenger, not of a poet (40–41)
