Surah An-Nas (“Mankind”) is the 114th surah of the Quran: a Makkan surah of 6 ayahs.
Background
The last surah of the Quran and the second of al-Mu‘awwidhatayn. Where Al-Falaq seeks refuge from outward harm, An-Nas seeks refuge from the inner whisper of evil.

Virtue
Together with Al-Falaq, the Prophet ﷺ called them unmatched for seeking refuge (Muslim 814), and recited them after every prayer (Abu Dawud 1523).

ফজিলত
সূরা ফালাকের সাথে এ দুটিকে রাসূলুল্লাহ ﷺ আশ্রয় প্রার্থনায় অতুলনীয় বলেছেন (মুসলিম ৮১৪) এবং প্রতি নামাজের পর পড়ার নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন (আবু দাউদ ১৫২৩)।
