। কুতায়বা (রহঃ) ... আবূ মাসউদ (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ দলের ইমামতি করবে ঐ ব্যাক্তি যে তাদের মধ্যে আল্লাহর কিতাব অধিক ভাল পাঠ করে। যদি তারা সকলেই কিরাআতে সমপর্যায়ভুক্ত হয়, তাহলে তাদের মধ্যে যে পূর্বে হিজরত করেছে। যদি তারা সকলেই হিজরতে সমপর্যায়ের হয়, তবে তাদের মধ্যে যে সুন্নাহ সম্পর্কে অধিক জ্ঞাত। যদি তারা সুন্নাহতেও যদি সমপর্যাযের হয়, তাহলে যার বয়স অধিক, সে ব্যক্তি। আর তুমি কোন ব্যক্তির কর্তূতের স্থানে ইমামতি করবে না। আর তুমি তার আসনে উপবেশন করবে না, হ্যাঁ, যদি তিনি তোমাকে অনুমতি দেন।
It was narrated that Abu Masud said:"The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ)said: 'Let the one who has most knowledge of the Book of Allah lead the people in prayer. If they are equal in terms of knowledge of the Qur'h, let the one who emigrated first (lead them). If they are equal in terms of emigration, let the one who has more knowledge of the Sunnah, (lead them). If they are equal in terms of knowledge of the Sunnah, let the one who is oldest (lead them). Do not lead a man in prayer in his place of authority, and do not sit in his place of honor, unless he gives you permission
। উবায়দুল্লাহ ইবনু সাঈদ (রহঃ) ... আব্দুল্লাহ (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ হয়ত তোমরা এমন লোকের সাক্ষাত পাবে যারা অসময়ে সালাত আদায় করবে। যদি তোমরা তাদের পাও, তাহলে সময়মত সালাত আদায় করবে এবং তাদের সাথে সালাত আদায় করবে এবং তা নফল ধরে নেবে।
It was narrated that 'Abdullih said:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'You may live to meet people who will be offering the prayer outside its (prayer) time. If you meet them, then offer the prayer on time, then pray with them and make that a voluntary prayer
। হাজিব ইবনু সুলায়মান মানবিজী (রহঃ) ... মালিক ইবনু হুয়াইরিস (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, এক সময় আমি এবং আমার এক চাচাত ভাই রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট এলাম। অন্য এক সময় বলেছেন, আমি এবং আমার এক সাথী রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর নিকট এলে তিনি বললেনঃ যখন তোমরা সফর করবে, তখন তোমরা আযান দিবে এবং ইকামত বলবে, আর তোমাদের ইমামতি করবে, তোমাদের মধ্যে যে বয়সে বড়।
It was narrated that Malik bin Al-Huwairith said:"I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) with a cousin of mine" - once he said, "with a friend of mine" - and he said: 'When you travel, call the Adhan and Iqamah, and let the older of you lead the prayer
। যিয়াদ ইবনু আইয়্যুব (রহঃ) ... আবূল আলিয়া বাররা (রহঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, যিয়াদ বিলম্বে সালাত আদায় করল। তারপর ইবনু সামিত (রাঃ) আমার নিকট আসলে আমি তাঁর জন্য একখানা কুরসী পেতে দিলাম। তিনি তার উপর উপবেশন করলেন। আমি তার নিকট যিয়াদের কান্ড বর্ণনা করলাম- তিনি তার ওষ্ঠদ্বয় কামড়ে ধরলেন এবং আমার উরুদেশ চেপে ধরলেন এবং বললেনঃ আমি আবূ যর (রাঃ) কে জিজ্ঞাসা করেছিলাম যেমন তুমি আমাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলে। তিনিও আমার উষ্ঠদেশে হাত মেরেছিলেন যেমন আমি হাত মেরেছি তোমার উরুর উপর এবং বলেছিলেনঃ আমি রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে জিজ্ঞাসা করেছিলাম যেমন তুমি আমাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলে। তারপর তিনি আমার উরুতে হাত মারলেন, যেমন আমি তোমার উরুতে হাত মেরেছি। এরপর রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছিলেনঃ সালাত যথাসময়ে আদায় করবে। যদি তাদের সাথে সালাত পাও, তবে আদায় করে নিবে কিন্তু একথা বলো না যে আমি সালাত আদায় করে ফেলেছি এখন আর আদায় করবো না।
It was narrated that Abu Aliyah Al-Barra said:"Ziyad delayed the prayer, then Ibn Samit came to me and I gave him a chair and he sat on it. I told him what Ziyad had done and he bit his lip (in disapproval), and he struck me on the thigh and said: 'I asked Abu Dharr the same question you asked me, and he struck me on the thigh as I struck you on the thigh and said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) the same question as you have asked me and he struck me on the thigh as I have struck you on the thigh and said: Offer the prayer on time, and if you catch up with them, then pray with them, and do not say: 'I have already prayed so I will not pray(now)
