Anas reported (that his mother) Umm Sulaim said (to the Holy Prophet) Allah's Messenger, here is your servant Anas. The rest of the hadith is the same
যুহায়র ইবনু হাব (রহঃ) ..... আনাস (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের কাছে এলেন। সে সময় আমি, আমার মা ও আমার খালা উম্মু হারাম ছাড়া সেখানে কেউ ছিল না। আমার মা বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! আপনার ছোট খাদিমের জন্য আল্লাহর কাছে প্রার্থনা করুন। রাবী বলেন, তিনি আমার জন্য সব ধরনের বারাকাতের দু'আ করলেন। তিনি আমার জন্য যে দুআ করেছিলেন তার শেষাংশ ছিল اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ وَبَارِكْ لَهُ فِيهِ হে আল্লাহ! তাকে ধন সম্পদ ও সন্তানাদি বৃদ্ধি করুন এবং তাতে তাকে বারাকাত দিন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৫১, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Anas reportedAllah's Apostle (ﷺ) visited us and there was none else (in the house) but I, my mother and my mother's sister Umm Haram. My mother said to him:Allah's Messenger, here is a small servant of yours, invoke blessings of Allah upon him. And he invoked blessings for me (that I should be bestowed upon) every good and this was what he (said) at the end of what be supplicated for me: O Allah, make an increase in his wealth, and progeny, and cqnfer blessings (upon him) in (each one) of them
আ'বূ মান রাক্কাশী (রহঃ) ..... আনাস (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমার মা উম্মু আনাস (রাযিঃ) আমাকে রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট নিয়ে গেলেন। তখন তিনি তার ওড়নার অর্ধাংশ দিয়ে আমার ইযার (পায়জামা) এবং বাকী অর্ধাংশ দ্বারা আমার চাদর তৈরি করেছিলেন। তিনি বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! এ আমার বালক পুত্র উনায়স, আমি তাকে আপনার নিকট নিয়ে এসেছি, সে আপনার সেবায় থাকবে। তার জন্য আল্লাহর নিকট দু'আ করুন। তখন তিনি দুআ করলেন, اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ "হে আল্লাহ! তাঁর ধনসম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি বৃদ্ধি করে দিন।" আনাস (রাযিঃ) বলেন, আল্লাহর শপথ আমার ধন-মাল অনেক আর সে যুগে আমার সন্তান ও সন্তানের নাতী-নাতনীর সংখ্যা ছিল একশ’র মতো। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৫২, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Anas reported:My mother Umm Anas came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). And she prepared my lower garment out of the half of her headdress and (with the other half) she covered my upper body and said: Allah's Messenger, here is my son Unais; I have brought him to you for serving you. Invoke blessings of Allah upon him. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: O Allah, make an increase in his wealth, and progeny. Anas said: By Allah, my fortune is huge and my children, and grand-children are now more than one hundred
তিনি বলেন, একদা রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কোথাও যাচ্ছিলেন। তখন আমার মা উম্মু সুলায়ম (রাযিঃ) তার কণ্ঠস্বর শুনতে পেলেন এবং তিনি বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! আমার পিতা-মাতা আপনার জন্য উৎসর্গিত হোক, এ ছোট বালক আনাস। তখন রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমার জন্য তিনটি দু'আ করলেন। এর দুটি আমি দুনিয়াতেই পেয়েছি এবং আখিরাতে তৃতীয়টি পাওয়ার দৃঢ় প্রত্যাশা করি। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৫৩, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Anas b. Malik said:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) passed (by our house) that my mother Umm Sulaim listened to his voice and said: Allah's Messenger, let my father and mother be sacrificed for thee, here is Unais (and requested him to invoke blessings upon me). So Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) invoked three blessings upon me. I have seen (the results) of the two in this very world (in regard to wealth and progeny) and I hope to see (the result) of the third one in the Hereafter
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ أَتَى عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَنَا أَلْعَبُ مَعَ الْغِلْمَانِ - قَالَ - فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْنَا فَبَعَثَنِي إِلَى حَاجَةٍ فَأَبْطَأْتُ عَلَى أُمِّي فَلَمَّا جِئْتُ قَالَتْ مَا حَبَسَكَ قُلْتُ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِحَاجَةٍ . قَالَتْ مَا حَاجَتُهُ قُلْتُ إِنَّهَا سِرٌّ . قَالَتْ لاَ تُحَدِّثَنَّ بِسِرِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَحَدًا . قَالَ أَنَسٌ وَاللَّهِ لَوْ حَدَّثْتُ بِهِ أَحَدًا لَحَدَّثْتُكَ يَا ثَابِتُ .
আবূ বাকর ইবনু নাফি’ (রহঃ) ..... আনাস (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমার নিকট এলেন। আমি তখন বালকদের সঙ্গে খেলায় লিপ্ত ছিলাম। তিনি বলেন, তিনি আমাদের সালাম করলেন। তিনি আমাকে কোন একটি বিশেষ প্রয়োজনে পাঠালেন। আমি আমার মায়ের নিকট বিলম্বে ফিরে আসলাম। আমি মায়ের নিকট গেলে তিনি আমাকে প্রশ্ন কররেন, তোমাকে কিসে আটকিয়েছিল? আমি বললাম, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাকে একটি প্রয়োজনে পাঠিয়েছিলেন। তিনি বললেন, প্রয়োজনটি কী? আমি বললাম, তা গোপনীয়। তিনি বললেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর গোপনীয় বিষয় কক্ষনে কাউকে বলবে না। আনাস (রাযিঃ) বললেন, আল্লাহর কসম, হে সাবিত! সে গোপনীয় ব্যাপার কারও নিকট উল্লেখ করলে তা তোমাকে অবশ্যই বলতাম। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৫৪, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Anas reported:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came to me as I was playing with playmates. He greeted and sent me on an errand and I made delay in going to my mother. When I came to her she said: What detained you? I said: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent me on an errand. She said: What was the purpose? I said: It is something secret. Therupon she said: Do not then divulge the secret of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) to anyone. Anas said: By Allah, if I were to divulge it to anyone, then, O Thabit, I would have divulged it to you
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম একটি গোপনীয় বিষয় সম্পর্কে আমার নিকট বলেছিলেন। তারপরে আমি কারও নিকট তা প্রকাশ করিনি এমনকি (আমার মা) উম্মু সুলায়ম (রাযিঃ) সে ব্যাপারে আমাকে জিজ্ঞেস করেছিলেন; কিন্তু আমি তাকেও তা জানায়নি। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৫৫, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) told me something secretly. I informed none about that and Umm Sulaim asked me about it, but I did not tell her even
যুহায়র ইবনু হারব (রহঃ) ..... সা'দ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু সালাম (রাযিঃ) ব্যতিরেকে ভূ-পৃষ্ঠে অবস্থানকারী কোন জীবিত লোকের ব্যাপারে বলতে শুনিনি যে, সে জান্নাতে বিচরণ করছে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৫৬, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Amir b. Sa'd reported that he heard his father (Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas) say:never heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say unto one living and moving about that he was in Paradise except to 'Abdullah b. Salim
তিনি বলেন, আমি মাদীনাতে এমন ব্যক্তিদের মাঝে ছিলাম, যাদের মধ্যে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সতক সাহাবী বিদ্যমান ছিলেন। ইত্যবসরে এক লোক এলো, যার মুখমণ্ডলে ভয়-ভীতির চিহ্ন বিদ্যমান ছিল। তখন লোকদের মধ্য থেকে কেউ কেউ বললেন, এ লোক জান্নাতীদের একজন, এ লোক জান্নাতীদের একজন। তিনি সেখানে দু' রাকাআত সালাত (সালাত/নামাজ/নামায) আদায় করলেন। তারপর বেরিয়ে গেলেন। আমি তাকে অনুকরণ করলাম। তিনি তার গৃহে ঢুকলেন। আমিও ঢুকলাম। এরপর আমরা আলাপচারিতায় ছিলাম। উভয়ের মধ্যে যখন অন্তরঙ্গতা তৈরি হলো তখন তাকে আমি বললাম, আপনি যখন একটু আগে (মসজিদে) প্রবেশ করেছিলেন, তখন জনৈক লোক এরূপ এরূপ বলেছিল (এ লোক জান্নাতীদের একজন)। তিনি বললেন, সুবহানাল্লাহ! কারো পক্ষে এমন কোন কথা বলা ঠিক নয়, যা সে অজ্ঞাত। তিনি বললেন, আমি তোমার সাথে আলাপ করব, কেন এমন হয়? (অর্থাৎ লোকেরা কেন এ কথা বলে) রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর যুগে একদা আমি একটি স্বপ্ন দেখেছিলাম। আমি সে স্বপ্লের কথা তার নিকট প্রকাশ করেছিলাম। আমি নিজেকে একটি বাগিচায় দেখতে পাই। এ বাগানের ব্যাপকতা, উৎপন্ন ফসলাদি ও সৌন্দর্যের কথাও তিনি ব্যক্ত করেন। এ বাগানের মাঝখানে একটি লৌহস্তম্ভ ছিল যার নিম্নভাগ ছিল মাটির মাঝে এবং উপরিভাগ ছিল আকাশে। এর উপরিভাগে ছিল একটি রশি। তখন আমাকে বলা হলো, তুমি এতে সওয়ার হও। আমি বললাম, আমি সওয়ার হতে পারব না। তারপর একজন মিনসাফ আসলো। তিনি বলেন, ইবনু আওন (রহঃ) এর মতে মিনসাফ অর্থ খাদিম। তিনি বলেন, তিনি পশ্চাৎদিক থেকে আমার বস্ত্র ধরলেন। তিনি উল্লেখ করেন যে, সে (খাদিম) তার হাত দিয়ে তার পেছন হতে তাকে তুলে দিল। আমি সওয়ার হলাম, এমনকি খুঁটি বেয়ে উঠলাম, তারপর রজ্জুটি ধরলাম। অতঃপর আমাকে বলা হলো একে আকড়িয়ে ধরো। আমি যখন জেগে গেলাম, তখনও ঐ রজ্জুটি আমার হাতেই ছিল। আমি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর নিকট এ স্বপ্লের কথা উল্লেখ করলাম। তখন তিনি বললেন, সে বাগানটি হলো ইসলাম। আর সে খুঁটিটি হলো ইসলামের খুঁটি এবং সে রজ্জুটি হলো সুদৃঢ় রজ্জু। তুমি আমৃত্যু শক্তভাবে ইসলামের উপরে প্রতিষ্ঠিত থাকবে। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, আর সে লোকই আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু সালাম (রাযিঃ)। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৫৭, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Qais b. 'Ubada reported:I was in the company of some persons, amongst whom some were the Companions of Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) in Medina, that there came a person whose face depicted the fear (of Allah). Some people said: He is a person from amongst the people of Paradise; he is a person from amongst the people of Paradise. He observed two short rak'ahs of prayer and then went out. I followed him and he got into his house and I also got in and we began to converse with each other. And when he became familiar (with me) I said to Him: When you entered (the mosque) before (your entrance in the house) a person said so and so (that you are amongst the people of Paradise), whereupon he said: It is not meet for anyone to say anything which he does not know. I shall (now) tell you why they (say) this. I saw a dream during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and narrated it to him. I seemed to be in a garden [he described its vastness, its rich fructification and its verdure]; in the midst of it, there stood an iron pillar, with its base in the earth and its summit in the sky: and upon its summit there was a handhold. It was said to me: Climb up this (pillar). I said to him (visitant in the dream): I am unable to do it. Thereupon a helper came to me, and he (supported) me (by catching hold of my) garment from behind and thus helped me with his hand and so I climbed up till I was at the summit of the pillar, and grasped the handhold. It was said to me: Ho d it tightly. It was at this that I woke up when (the handhold) was in fthe grip) of my hand. I narrated it (the dream) to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ), whereupon he said: That garden implies al-Islam and that pillar implies the pillar of Islam. And that handhold is the firmest faith (as refered to in the Qur'an). And you will remain attached to Islam until you shall die. And that man was 'Abdullah b. Salim
তিনি বলেন, আমি এক মজলিসে ছিলাম, যেখানে সা'দ ইবনু মালিক (রাযিঃ) ও ইবনু উমর (রাযিঃ) উপস্থিত ছিলেন। তখন আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু সালাম (রাযিঃ) যাচ্ছিলেন। তারা বললেন, এ ব্যক্তিটি জান্নাতীদের একজন। আমি দণ্ডায়মান হলাম এবং তাকে বললাম, তারা আপনাকে এমন এমন বলেছেন। তিনি বললেন, সুবহানাল্লাহ! তাদের এমন কোন কথা ব্যক্ত করা ঠিক নয়, যে ব্যাপারে তাদের ইলম নেই। একবার (স্বপ্নে) আমি দেখতে পেলাম, যেন একটি খুঁটি রাখা হয়েছে একটি সবুজ শ্যামল বাগানের মধ্যস্থলে, এর চূড়ায় একটি রজ্জু ছিল। এর নিম্নে একটি ছোট্ট 'মিনসাফ' (দণ্ডায়মান) ছিল। মিনসাফ অর্থ খাদিম। তখন আমাকে বলা হলো, এতে সওয়ার হও। আমি তাতে সওয়ার হলাম। শেষ অবধি রজ্জুটি সুদৃঢ়ভাবে ধরলাম। অতঃপর আমি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর কাছে তা ব্যক্ত করলাম। তখন রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ মজবুত রজ্জুটি আঁকড়ে ধরা অবস্থায় আবদুল্লাহ (রাযিঃ) মৃত্যুবরণ করবে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৫৮, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Qais b. 'Ubaida reported:I was (sitting) in a company in which there were (besides others) Sa'd b. Malik and Ibn 'Umar that 'Abdullah b. Saliim happened to pass (by that side). They (the people sitting in that company) said: He is a person from amongst the dwellers of Paradise. I stood up and said to him: They say such and such (thing about you), whereupon he said: Hallowed be Allah, it is not meet for them to say (anything) of which They have no knowledge. Verily I saw as if a pillar had been raised in a green garden and there had been fixed at its (upper) end a handhold and there was a helper at its base. It was said to me: Climb up. So I climbed up and caught hold of the haildhold. I narrated (the contents of this dream) to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), whereupon he said: 'Abdullah would die in a state that he would be catching hold of the firmest handhold (he would die holding fast to the faith)
কুতাইবাহ ইবনু সাঈদ ও ইসহাক ইবনু ইবরাহীম (রাযিঃ) ..... খারাশাহ ইবনু হুর (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমি মদীনার মসজিদে একটি সমাবেশে উপবিষ্ট ছিলাম। তিনি বলেন, সে মাজলিসে বসা ছিলেন সুন্দর চেহারার অধিকারী একজন বৃদ্ধ লোক। তিনিই ছিলেন আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু সালাম (রাযিঃ)। তিনি (বর্ণনাকারী) বলেন, তিনি তাদের সম্মুখে ভাল ভাল কথা বলছিলেন। তিনি (বর্ণনাকারী) বলেন, যখন তিনি সমাবেশ হতে উঠছিলেন সে সময় ব্যক্তিরা বলল, কোন লোক যদি জান্নাতীকে দেখে আনন্দিত হতে চায় তবে যেন সে ঐ লোকটির দিকে দৃষ্টিপাত করে। তিনি খারাশাহ্ (রাযিঃ) বলেন, আমি বললাম, আল্লাহর শপথ! নিশ্চয়ই আমি তার অনুসরণ করব, যাতে আমি তার আবাসস্থল জানতে পারি। তিনি (বর্ণনাকারী) বললেন, এরপর আমি তাকে অনুসরণ করলাম। তিনি রওনা হলেন এবং মাদীনাহ শহর থেকে বেরিয়ে যাওয়ার সন্নিকটবর্তী জায়গায় পৌছে নিজ ঘরে ঢুকলেন। তিনি (বর্ণনাকারী) বলেন, আমিও তার নিকট প্রবেশের অনুমতি চাইলাম। তিনি আমাকে অনুমতি দিলেন। অতঃপর বললেন, হে ভ্রাতুষ্পপুত্র! তুমি কি চাও? রাবী বলেন, আমি তাকে বললাম, আপনি যখন সমাবেশ থেকে উঠে আসছিলেন তখন আমি আপনার ব্যাপারে ব্যক্তিদের বলতে শুনেছি, যে লোক একজন জান্নাতীকে দেখে আনন্দ পেতে চায়, সে যেন এ লোকের দিকে তাকায়। তখন আমার মনে আপনার সঙ্গ লাভের আগ্রহ জাগে। তিনি বললেন, জান্নাতীদের ব্যাপারে আল্লাহই অধিক জ্ঞাত। কিন্তু ব্যক্তিদের এ কথা বলার কারণ আমি তোমার নিকট উল্লেখ করছি। একবার আমি ঘুমে অচেতন ছিলাম। স্বপ্নে দেখলাম যে, জনৈক লোক আমার নিকট এসেছে। সে আমাকে বলল, দাঁড়িয়ে যাও। অতঃপর সে আমার হাত আঁকড়ে ধরল। আমি তার সাথে রওনা করলাম। আমি আমার বামপাশে কয়েকটি পথ দেখতে পেলাম এবং আমি সে পথ ধরে চলতে চাইলাম। সে আমাকে বলল, ওদিকে যেয়ে না। কারণ, এটা হলো বামপন্থীদের (কাফিরদের) পথ। তিনি বলেন, এরপর আমি আমার ডানপাশে কয়েকটি আলোক সরল পথ দেখতে পেলাম। এরপর সে বলল, এ রাস্তায় চলো। তিনি বলেন, অতঃপর সে আমাকে একটি পাহাড়ের চূড়ায় নিয়ে আসলো। অতঃপর আমাকে পাহাড়ে উঠতে বলল। আমি পাহাড়ে উঠতে চেষ্টারত ছিলাম। কিন্তু পাছায় হোচট খেয়ে পড়ে গেলাম। তিনি বলেন, আমি বেশ কয়েকবার এরূপ চেষ্টা করতে লাগলাম। তিনি বলেন, এরপর সে আমাকে নিয়ে রওনা হলো এবং একটি খুঁটির নিকট পৌছল, যার মাথা ছিল আকাশে এবং তার নিম্নভাগ ভূ-পৃষ্ঠের নীচে ছিল। খুঁটির চূড়ায় একটি কড়া ছিল। সে বলল, এর উপরে উঠো। তিনি বলেন, আমি বললাম, এতে কিভাবে চড়ব? এর মাথা তো আকাশের উপরিভাগে। তিনি বলেন, এরপর সে আমার হাত ধরল এবং আমাকে উপরে ঠেলে দিল। অকস্মাৎ আমি দেখলাম যে, আমি কড়ার সাথে ঝুলে আছি। তিনি বলেন, এরপর সে খুঁটির উপর করাঘাত করল এবং তা পড়ে গেল। তিনি বলেন, আর আমি কড়ার সাথে ঝুলে গেলাম। এভাবে আমার সকাল হলো। তিনি বলেন, এরপর আমি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট এসে স্বপ্নের কথা সবিস্তারে বিবরণ দিলাম। তিনি বললেনঃ তুমি তোমার বামপাশে যে পথগুলো দেখেছ, তা হচ্ছে বামপন্থীদের রাস্তা এবং তোমার ডানপাশে যেসব রাস্তা দেখেছ, তা হচ্ছে আসহাবুল ইয়ামীন বা জান্নাতীগণের রাস্তা। তুমি যে পাহাড়টি দেখেছিলে তা হচ্ছে শাহীদগণের আবাসস্থল আর তা তুমি পাবে না। তুমি যে খুঁটিটি দেখেছিলে সেটা হচ্ছে ইসলামের খুঁটি। যে কড়াটি তুমি দেখেছিলে সেটা হচ্ছে ইসলামের কড়া। আর তুমি আমৃত্যু ইসলামের উপর সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত থাকবে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৫৯, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Kharasha b. Hurr reported:I was sitting in a circle in the mosque of Medina and there was an old man, quite handsome. He was 'Abdullah b. Salim. He was telling good things to them (to the people sitting in that company). As he stood up (to depart) the people said: He who is desirous of looking at a person from amongst the people of Paradise should see him. I said: By Allah, I will follow him, and would try to know his residence. So I followed him and he walked on until he reached the outskirts of Medina. He then entered his house. I sought permission from him to get in, and he granted me the permission, saying: My nephew, what is the need (that has brought you here)? I said to him: As you stood up, I heard people say about you: He who is desirous of seeing a person from among the people of Paradise should look at him. So I became desirous of accompanying you. He ('Abdullah b. Salim) said: It is Allah Who knows best about the people of Paradise. I would, however, narrate to you as to why they said like it. (The story is) that while I was asleep (one night) there came to me a person (in the dream) who asked me to stand up. (So I stood up) and he caught hold of my hand and I walked along with him, and, lo, I found some paths on my left and I was about to set out upon them. Thereupon he said to me Do not set yourself on (them) for these are the paths of the leftists (denizens of Hell-fire). Then there were paths leading to the right side, whereupon he said: Set yourself on these paths. We came across a hill and he said to me: Climb up, and I attempted to climb up that I fell upon my buttocks. I made several attempts (but failed to succeed). He led until he came to a pillar (so high) that its upper end touched the sky and its base was in the earth. And there was a handhold at its upper end. He said to me Climb over it. I said: How can I climb upon it, as its upper end touches the sky? He cought hold of my hand and pushed me up and I found myself suspended with the handhold. He then struck the pillar and it fell down, but I remained attached to that handhold until it was morning (and the dream was thus over). I came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and narrated it to him. He said: So far as the paths which you saw on your left are concerned, these are paths of the leftists (denizens of Hell) and the paths which you saw on your right, these are the paths of the rightists (the dwellers of Paradise) and the mountain represents the destination of the martyrs which you would not be able to attain. The pillar implies the pillar of Islam. and so far as the handhold is concerned, it implies the handhold of Islam, and you would hold to it fastly until you would meet death
আমর আন নাকিদ, ইসহাক ইবনু ইবরাহীম ও ইবনু আবূ উমর (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত যে, একবার উমর (রাযিঃ) হাসসান (রাযিঃ) এর নিকট দিয়ে অতিক্রম করছিলেন। তিনি তখন মসজিদে কবিতা আবৃতিতে মত্ত ছিলেন। উমর (রাযিঃ) তার দিকে ডাকালেন। তখন তিনি বললেন, এমন অবস্থায় মসজিদে আমি কবিতা আবৃতি করছিলাম, যখন তাতে আপনার চাইতে ভাল লোক উপবিষ্ট ছিলেন। তারপর হাসসান (রাযিঃ) আবূ হুরাইরাহ্ (রাযিঃ) এর দিকে তাকিয়ে বললেন, আল্লাহর শপথ! আপনি কি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে বলতে শুনেছেন, "তুমি আমার পক্ষ হতে উত্তর দাও। হে আল্লাহ! তাকে পবিত্র আত্মা (জিবরীল) দ্বারা সহযোগিতা করো।" আবূ হুরাইরাহ্ (রাযিঃ) বললেন, “ইয়া আল্লাহ! হ্যাঁ।” (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৬০, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abu Huraira reported that 'Umar happened to pass by Hassan as he was reciting verses in the mosque. He (Hadrat 'Umar) looked towards him (meaningfully), whereupon he (gassin) said:I used to recite (verses) when one better than you (the Holy Prophet) had been present (here). He then looked towards Abu Huraira and said to him: I adjure you by Allah (to tell) if you had not heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: (Hassan), give a reply on my behalf; Allah I help him with Ruh-ul-Qudus. He (Abu Huraira) said: By Allah, it is so (i. e. the Prophet actually said these words)
ইসহাক ইবনু ইবরাহীম মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু রাফি’ ও ‘আবদ ইবনু হুমায়দ (রহঃ) ..... ইবনুল মুসায়্যাব (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত যে, একবার হাসসান (রাযিঃ) আবূ হুরাইরাহ্ (রাযিঃ)-সহ সাহাবীদের এক মাজলিসে বলেছিলেন, হে আবূ হুরাইরাহ! আল্লাহর শপথ আপনি কি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে বলতে শুনেছেন? তারপর তিনি উপরোল্লিখিত হাদীসের হুবহু বর্ণনা করেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৬১, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Ibn Musayyib reported that Hassan said to a circle in which there was also Abu Huraira:Abu Huraira, I adjure you by Allah (to tell) whether you-had not heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying like this
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ حَسَّانَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ الأَنْصَارِيَّ، يَسْتَشْهِدُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَنْشُدُكَ اللَّهَ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " يَا حَسَّانُ أَجِبْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم اللَّهُمَّ أَيِّدْهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ " . قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ نَعَمْ .
আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু ‘আবদুর রহমান দারিমী (রহঃ) ..... আবূ সালামাহ্ ইবনু আবদুর রহমান (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি হাসসান ইবনু সাবিত আনসারী (রাযিঃ) কে আবূ হুরাইরাহ্ (রাযিঃ) কে সাক্ষী করতে শুনেছেন যে, হে আবূ হুরাইরাহ! আমি আপনাকে আল্লাহর শপথ দিয়ে বলছি, আপনি কি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে বলতে শুনেছেন যে, হে হাসসান! তুমি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর পক্ষ হতে উত্তর দাও। হে আল্লাহ! তাকে রূহুল কুদ্দুসের (জিবরীলের) মাধ্যমে সাহায্য করুন। তখন আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) বললেন, আচ্ছা। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৬২, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abd al-Rahman reported that he heard Hassin b. Thabit al-Ansari call Abu Huraira to bear witness by saying:I adjure you by Allah if you had not heard Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) saying: Hassin, give a reply on behalf of the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, help him with Ruh-ul-Qudus. Abu Huraira said: Yes, it is so
তিনি বলেন, আমি হাসসান ইবনু সাবিতের উদ্দেশে রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে বলতে শুনেছি, তুমি তাদের (কাফিরদের) বিরুদ্ধে বিদ্রুপ কবিতা রচনা করো কিংবা বলেছেন, তুমি তাদের ব্যঙ্গ কবিতার জবাব দাও। জিবরীল (আঃ) তোমার সাথে আছেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৬৩, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Al-Bari' b. 'Azib reported:I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Hassan b. Thibit, write satire (against the non-believers) ; Gabriel is with you
আবূ বাকর ইবনু আবূ শাইবাহ ও আবূ কুরায়ব (রহঃ) ..... হিশাম (রহঃ) হতে তার পিতার সানাদে রিওয়ায়াত করেন যে, হাসসান ইবনু সাবিত (রাযিঃ) সেসব ব্যক্তির মাঝে শামিল ছিলেন, যারা আয়িশার বিরুদ্ধে অনেক কথা বলেছেন (দুর্নাম করেছেন)। তাই আমি তাকে ভৎসনা করেছিলাম। তখন আয়িশাহ্ (রাযিঃ) বললেন, হে আমার ভগ্নিপুত্র! তাকে ছেড়ে দাও। কারণ তিনি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর পক্ষ হতে কাফিরদের বিরুদ্ধে বিদ্রুপ কবিতা দিয়ে উত্তর দিতেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৬৪, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Hisham reported on the authority of his father that Hassan b. Thabit talked much about 'A'isha. I scolded him, whereupon she said:My nephew, leave him for he defended Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)
বিশর ইবনু খালিদ (রহঃ) ..... মাসরুক (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, একদিন আমি আয়িশাহ্ (রাযিঃ) এর নিকট গেলাম। তখন তার নিকট হাসসান ইবনু সাবিত (রাযিঃ) উপবিষ্ট ছিলেন। তিনি তখন তার জন্য কবিতা তৈরি করছিলেন এবং তার কবিতাটির কয়েকটি পংক্তি দ্বারা গান গাচ্ছিলেন। তিনি বলেছিলেনঃ “তিনি পবিত্র আত্মা! বুদ্ধিমতী, সন্দেহজনক বিষয়ে তাকে কোন অপবাদ দেয়া যায় না। তিনি উদাসীনদের গোশত হতে অভুক্ত হতে ক্ষুধার্ত অবস্থায় শয্যা ত্যাগ করেন।” তখন আয়িশাহ (রাযিঃ) তাকে বললেন, কিন্তু আপনি তো এমন নন। মাসরুক (রহঃ) বলেন, আমি তাকে (আয়িশাহকে) বললাম, আপনি তাকে আপনার নিকট ঢুকার অনুমতি দিলেন কেন? অথচ আল্লাহ বলেছেন "এবং তাদের মাঝে যে এ বিষয়ে বড় ভূমিকা গ্রহণ করেছে, তার জন্য আছে মহাশাস্তি"- (সূরাহ আন নূর ২৪ঃ ১১)। তখন আয়িশাহ (রাযিঃ) বললেন, এর চাইতে ভয়ঙ্কর শাস্তি আর কি হতে পারে যে, সে অন্ধ হয়ে গেছে? অতঃপর তিনি বললেন, তিনি তো রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর তরফ হতে তাদের (কাফিরদের) বিরুদ্ধে উত্তর দিতেন অথবা বিদ্রুপ করে কবিতার মাধ্যমে সমুচিত জবাব দিতেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৬৬, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Masruq reported:I visited 'A'isha when Hassin was sitting there and reciting verses from his compilation: She is chaste and prudent. There is no calumny against her and she rises up early in the morning without eating the meat of the un- mindful. 'A'isha said: But you are not so. Masruq said: I said to her: Why do you permit him to visit you, whereas Allah has said:" And as for him among them who took upon himself the main part thereof, he shall have a grievous punishment" (XXIV. ll)? Thereupon she said: What tornient can be more severe than this that he has become blind? He used to write satire as a rebuttal on behalf of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)
حَدَّثَنَاهُ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، فِي هَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَقَالَ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَذُبُّ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ حَصَانٌ رَزَانٌ .
ইবনুল মুসান্না (রহঃ) ..... শু’বার সূত্রে এ সানাদে অবিকল রিওয়ায়াত করেছেন। তিনি বলেন, ‘আয়িশাহ্ (রাযিঃ) বলেছেন, তিনি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর তরফ হতে উত্তর দিতেন। তবে তিনি এ বর্ণনায় حَصَانٌ (পবিত্র) ও رَزَانٌ (পবিত্র আত্মা, বুদ্ধিমতী) শব্দটুকু বর্ণনা করেননি। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬১৬৭, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
