উবাইদুল্লাহ ইবনু মুআয (রহঃ) ..... ইবনু মুগাফফাল (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কুকুর হত্যা করতে বলেন। পরে তিনি বলেছেনঃ এদের এবং কুকুরের কী অবস্থা। অতঃপর শিকারী কুকুর ও বকরীর পাল পাহারার ব্যাপারে তিনি অনুমতি প্রদান করেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৩৮৭৬, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Ibn Mughaffal reported:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ordered the killing of dogs and then said: what is the trouble with them (the people of Medina)? How dogs are nuisance to them (the citizens of Medina)? He then permitted keehing of dogs for hunting and (the protection of) herds
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَلَفٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِقَتْلِ الْكِلاَبِ حَتَّى إِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ تَقْدَمُ مِنَ الْبَادِيَةِ بِكَلْبِهَا فَنَقْتُلُهُ ثُمَّ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ قَتْلِهَا وَقَالَ " عَلَيْكُمْ بِالأَسْوَدِ الْبَهِيمِ ذِي النُّقْطَتَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ شَيْطَانٌ " .
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু আহমাদ ইবনু আবূ খালাফ ও ইসহাক ইবনু মানসূর (রহঃ) ..... জাবির ইবনু আবদুল্লাহ্ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলতেন যে, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কুকুর হত্যা করার জন্য আমাদেরকে আদেশ দিয়েছেন। অতঃপর কোন বেদুঈন নারী কুকুরসহ আগমণ করলে আমরা তাও হত্যা করে ফেলতাম। পরে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তা হত্যা করতে নিষেধ করেন এবং বলেন চোখের উপর সাদা দু' টিকা বিশিষ্ট ঘন কালো রঙের কুকুর তোমরা হত্যা কর, কেননা তা হলো শাইতান (অর্থাৎ- অতি নিকৃষ্ট)। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৩৮৭৫, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abu Zubair heard Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with him) saying:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ordered us to kill dogs, and we carried out this order so much so that we also kill the dog coming with a woman from the desert. Then Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) forbade their killing. He (the Prophet further) said: It is your duty the jet-black (dog) having two spots (on the eyes), for it is a devil
ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু হাবীব, মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু হাতিম, মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু ওয়ালীদ, ইসহাক ইবনু ইবরাহীম ও মুহাম্মাদ ইবনুল মুসান্না (রহঃ) ... শুবাহ্ (রহঃ) হতে উক্তরূপে বর্ণনা করেন। আর ইবনু হাতিম ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত হাদীসে বলেনঃ "এবং তিনি অনুমতি দিয়েছেন বকরীর পাল পাহারার, শিকারী এবং ক্ষেত পাহারার কুকুরের ক্ষেত্রে।" (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৩৮৭৭, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
In the hadith transmitted on the authority of Yahya, he (the Holy Prophet) permitted the keeping of dogs for (the protection of) herds, for hunting and (the protection of) cultivated land
ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ..... ইবনু উমার (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত যে, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কুকুর হত্যা করতে হুকুম দিয়েছেন। তবে শিকারী কুকুর, বকরী পাহারা দানের কুকুর অথবা অন্য জীবজন্তু পাহারা দেয়া কুকুর ব্যতীত। অতঃপর ইবনু উমারের নিকট বলা হলো যে, আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) তো ক্ষেত পাহারার কুকুরের কথাও বলে থাকেন। ইবনু উমর (রাযিঃ) বললেনঃ আবূ হুরাইরার ক্ষেত আছে।* (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৩৮৭৪, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be, upon him) ordered the killing of dogs except the dog tamed for hunting, or watching of the herd of sheep or other domestic animals. It was said to Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) that Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) talks of (exception) about the dog for watching the field, whereupon he said:Since Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) possessed land
