রেওয়ায়ত ২৬. নাফি' (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) যখন একা নামায পড়িতেন তখন চার রাকআত বিশিষ্ট নামাযের প্রত্যেক রাকআতে সূরা ফাতিহার সঙ্গে একটি সূরা পাঠ করিতেন। আর এমনও হইত যে, ফরয নামাযের এক রাকাআতে দুই-তিনটি সূরা একসাথেও পাঠ করিতেন। আর মাগরিবের নামাযে প্রথম দুই রাক’আতে সূরা ফাতিহার সাথে একটি করিয়া সূরা পড়িতেন।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar used to recite in all four rakas as when he prayed alone - in every raka the umm al-Qur'an and another sura from the Qur'an. Sometimes he would recite two or three suras in one raka in the obligatory prayer. Similarly, he recited the umm al-Qur'an and two suras in the first two rakas of maghrib
রেওয়ায়ত ২৫. কায়স ইবন হারিস (রহঃ) আবু আবদুল্লাহ সুনাবিহি (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণনা করিয়াছেন- তিনি (আবু আবদুল্লাহ সুনাবিহি) বলিয়াছেনঃ আমি আবু বকর (রাঃ)-এর খিলাফতকালে মদীনায় আগমন করিলাম এবং তাহার ইমামতিতে মাগরিবের নামায পড়িলাম। তিনি প্রথম দুই রাকাআতে সূরা ফাতিহার পর (قِصَارِ الْمُفَصَّلِ) (কিসার-ই-মুফাসসাল) হইতে এক রাকাআতে একটি করিয়া সূরা পাঠ করিলেন; তারপর তৃতীয় রাকাআতে দাঁড়াইলেন । আমি তখন তাহার এত নিকটবর্তী ছিলাম যে, আমার কাপড় তাহার কাপড়কে প্রায় স্পর্শ করিতেছিল। সেই সময় আমি তাহাকে সূরা ফাতিহা ও (নিচের) আয়াতটি পাঠ করিতে শুনিয়াছিঃ (رَبَّنَا لاَ تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ) অর্থঃ হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক সরলপথ প্রদর্শনের পর তুমি আমাদের অন্তরকে সত্য-লংঘনপ্রবণ করিও না এবং তোমার নিকট হইতে আমাদিগকে করুণা দাও, তুমিই মহাদাতা। (সূরা আলে ইমরানঃ)
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu Ubayd, the mawla of Sulayman ibn Abd alMalik, from Ubada ibn Nusayy from Qays ibn al Harith that Abu Abdullah as-Sunabihi said, "I arrived in Madina in the khalifate of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, and I prayed maghrib behind him. He recited the umm al Qur'an and two suras from the shorter ones of the mufassal in the first two rakas. Then he stood up in the third and I drew so near to him that my clothes were almost touching his clothes. I heard him reciting the umm al-Qur'an and this ayat, 'Our Lord, do not make our hearts go astray after You have guided us, and give us mercy from Your presence. Surely You are the Giver. ' " (Sura 3 ayat)
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْعِشَاءَ فَقَرَأَ فِيهَا بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ .
রেওয়ায়ত ২৭. আদী ইবন সাবিত আনসারী (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, বারা ইবন আযির (রাঃ) বলিয়াছেনঃ আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সহিত ইশার নামায পড়িয়ছিলাম। তিনি সেই নামাযে সূরা[1] (والتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ) পড়িয়ছিলেন।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said from Adi ibn Thabit al-Ansari that al-Barra ibn Azib said, "I prayed isha with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he recited at-Tin (Sura 95) in it
রেওয়ায়ত ২৪. আবদুল্লাহ ইবন আব্বাস (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, উম্মুল ফযল বিনত হারিস (রাঃ) তাহাকে সূরা[1] (وَالْمُرْسَلاَتِ عُرْفًا) পাঠ করিতে শুনিয়া বলিয়াছিলেন, হে বৎস! তুমি এই সূর্য পাঠ করিয়া রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর কথা স্মরণ করাইয়া দিলে। এই সূরাটি সর্বশেষ সূরা যাহা রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর পবিত্র মুখে মাগরিবের নামাযে পাঠ করিতে আমি শুনিয়াছি।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Utba ibn Masud from Abdullah ibn Abbas that Umm al- Fadl bint al-Harith heard him reciting al Mursalat (sura 77) and she said to him, "My son, you have reminded me by reciting this sura that it was what I last heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, recite in the maghrib prayer
