রেওয়ায়ত ৪. ইয়াহইয়া ইবন সাঈদ (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, সাঈদ ইবন মুসায়্যাব বলিতেন, হদ্দ বা নির্ধারিত শাস্তি ব্যতীত এমন কোন গুনাহ নাই যাহা আল্লাহ ক্ষমা করিতে ইচ্ছা করেন না। মালিক (রহঃ) বলেন, আমাদের মতে এই আদেশ ঐ মদের বেলায় প্রযোজ্য, যে মদের মধ্যে মাদকতা রহিয়াছে, পানকারী মাতাল হউক বা না হউক।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that he heard Said ibn al-Musayyab say, "There is nothing that Allah does not like to be pardoned as long as it is not a hadd." Yahya said that Malik said, "The sunna with us is that the hadd is obliged against anyone who drinks something intoxicating whether or not he becomes drunk
রেওয়ায়ত ৩. ইবন শিহাবকে প্রশ্ন করা হইল, যদি কোন দাস মদ্য পান করে তবে তাহার শাস্তি কি? তিনি বলিলেন, আমি জানি দাসের শাস্তি স্বাধীন লোকের অর্ধেক। আর উমর ইবনে খাত্তাব, উসমান ইবন আফফান ও আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) মদ্য পানের জন্য নিজেদের দাসদেরকে অর্ধেক শাস্তি দিয়াছিলেন।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that he was asked about the hadd of the slave for wine. He said, "I heard that he has half the hadd of a freeman for drinking wine. Umar ibn al-Khattab, Uthman ibn Affan, and Abdullah ibn Umar flogged their slaves with half of the hadd of a freeman when they drank wine
রেওয়ায়ত ৫. আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কোন যুদ্ধে ভাষণ দান করিতেছিলেন। আমিও উহা শ্রবণের নিমিত্ত সেই দিকে রওয়ানা হইলাম। কিন্তু আমার তথায় উপস্থিত হওয়ার পূর্বেই তিনি ভাষণ শেষ করিয়া ফেলিলেন। আমি অন্যান্য লোকের নিকট জিজ্ঞাসা করিলাম, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কি বলিয়াছেন? তাহারা বলিল, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম লাউয়ের খোল এবং বাহিরে আলকাতরা মাখা পাত্রে নবীয প্রস্তুত করিতে নিষেধ করিয়াছেন।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, addressed the people in one of his raids. Abdullah ibn Umar said, "I went towards him, but he finished before I reached him. I asked about what he had said. Someone said to me, 'He forbade preparing nabidh in a gourd or in a jug smeared with pitch
রেওয়ায়ত ২. সওর ইবনে যাইদ (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত আছে, উমর (রাঃ) মদ্য পানের শাস্তির ব্যাপারে সাহাবীদের নিকট পরামর্শ চাহিয়াছিলেন। আলী (রাঃ) বলিলেন, আমার মতে বেত্ৰাঘাত লাগান যাইতে পারে। কেননা মানুষ মদ্য পান করিয়া মাতাল অবস্থায় অকথ্য কথা বলিবে বা কোন গালিই দিয়া বলিবে। অতঃপর উমর (রাঃ) মদ্য পানের শাস্তি আশি বেত্ৰাঘাত নির্ধারিত করিলেন।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Thawr ibn Zayd ad-Dili that Umar ibn al-Khattab asked advice about a man drinking wine. Ali ibn Abi Talib said to him, "We think that you flog him for it with eighty lashes. Because when he drinks, he becomes intoxicated, and when he becomes intoxicated, he talks confusedly, and when he talks confusedly, he lies." (80 lashes is the same amount as for slandering) Umar gave eighty lashes for drinking wine
