তিনি বলেন, আল্লাহর রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যখন তোমাদের কারো সামনে রাতের খাবার এসে পড়ে, অপরদিকে সালাতের ইক্বামাত(ইকামত/একামত) হয়ে যায়। তখন পূর্বে খাবার খেয়ে নিবে। খাওয়া রেখে সালাতে তাড়াহুড়া করবে না। [নাফি‘ (রহ.) বলেন] ইবনু ‘উমার (রাযি.)-এর জন্য খাবার পরিবেশন করা হত, সে সময় সালাতের ইক্বামাত(ইকামত/একামত) দেয়া হত, তিনি খাবার শেষ না করে সালাতে আসতেন না। অথচ তিনি ইমামের কিরাআত শুনতে পেতেন। (৬৭৪, ৫৪৬৪) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ৬৩৩ , ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated Nafi`:
Ibn `Umar said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, 'If the supper is served for anyone of you and the Iqama is pronounced, start with the supper and don't be in haste (and carry on eating) till you finish it." If food was served for Ibn `Umar and Iqama was pronounced, he never came to the prayer till he finished it (i.e. food) in spite of the fact that he heard the recitation (of the Qur'an) by the Imam (in the prayer)
আনাস ইবনু মালিক (রাযি.) হতে বর্ণিত যে, আল্লাহর রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ বিকেলের খাবার পরিবেশন করা হলে মাগরিবের সালাতের পূর্বে তা খেয়ে নিবে খাওয়া রেখে সালাতে তাড়াহুড়া করবে না। (৫৪৬৩; মুসলিম ৫/১৬, হাঃ ৫৫৭) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৬৩২, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "If the supper is served start having it before praying the Maghrib prayer and do not be hasty in finishing it
নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তোমাদের কেউ যখন খাবার খেতে থাক, তখন সালাতের ইক্বামাত(ইকামত/একামত) হয়ে গেলেও খাওয়া শেষ না করে তাড়াহুড়া করবে না। আবূ ‘আবদুল্লাহ্ ইমাম বুখারী (রহ.) বলেন, আমাকে ইব্রাহীম ইবনু মুনযির (রহ.) এ হাদীসটি ওয়াহ্ব ইবনু উসমান (রহ.) হতে বর্ণনা করেছেন এবং ওয়াহ্ব হলেন মদিনা্বাসী। (মুসলিম ৫/১৬,হাঃ ৫৫৯ আহমাদ ৪৭০৯) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৬৩৩ শেষাংশ, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৬৪০ শেষাংশ)
Narrated Ibn `Umar:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If anyone of you is having his meals, he should not hurry up till he is satisfied even if the prayer has been started
