Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:
The reward of the congregational prayer is twenty seven times greater (than that of the prayer offered by a person alone)
তিনি আল্লাহর রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম -কে বলতে শুনেছেন যে, জামা‘আতের সালাত তোমাদের কারো একাকী সালাত হতে পঁচিশ গুণ অধিক সওয়াব রাখে। আর ফজরের সালাতে রাতের ও দিনের মালাকগণ একত্রিত হয়। অতঃপর আবূ হুরাইরাহ্ (রাযি.) বলতেন, তোমরা চাইলে (এর প্রমাণ স্বরূপ)’ (إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا) অর্থাৎ ‘‘ফজরের সালাতে (মালাকগণ) উপস্থিত হয়’’- (সূরাহ্ ইসরা ১৭/৭৮) এ আয়াত পাঠ কর। (১৭৬) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ,৬১২ ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated Abu Salama bin `Abdur Rahman:
Abu Huraira said, "I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, 'The reward of a prayer in congregation is twenty five times greater than that of a prayer offered by a person alone. The angels of the night and the angels of the day gather at the time of Fajr prayer.' " Abu Huraira then added, "Recite the Holy Book if you wish, for "Indeed, the recitation of the Qur'an in the early dawn (Fajr prayer) is ever witnessed." (17:)
তিনি বলেন, একবার আবূ দারদা (রাযি.) ভীষণ রাগান্বিত অবস্থায় আমার নিকট এলেন। আমি জিজ্ঞেস করলাম, কিসে তোমাকে রাগান্বিত করেছে? তিনি বললেন, আল্লাহর শপথ! মুহাম্মাদ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম -এর উম্মাতের মধ্যে জামা‘আতে সালাত আদায় বাদ দিয়ে তাঁর তরীকার আর কিছুই দেখছি না। (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৬১৩, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated Salim:
I heard Um Ad-Darda' saying, "Abu Ad-Darda' entered the house in an angry mood. I said to him. 'What makes you angry?' He replied, 'By Allah! I do not find the followers of Muhammad doing those good things (which they used to do before) except the offering of congregational prayer." (This happened in the last days of Abu Ad-Darda' during the rule of `Uthman)
তিনি বলেন, আল্লাহর রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ কোনো ব্যক্তির জামা‘আতের সাথে সালাতের সওয়াব, তার নিজের ঘরে ও বাজারে আদায়কৃত সালাতের সওয়াবের চেয়ে পঁচিশ গুণ বাড়িয়ে দেয়া হয়। এর কারণ এই যে, সে যখন উত্তমরূপে উযূ করলো, অতঃপর একমাত্র সালাতের উদ্দেশে মসজিদে রওয়ানা করল তখন তার প্রতি কদমের বিনিময়ে একটি মর্তবা বৃদ্ধি করা হয় এবং একটি গুনাহ মাফ করা হয়। সালাত আদায়ের পর সে যতক্ষণ নিজ সালাতের স্থানে থাকে, মালাকগণ তার জন্য এ বলে দু‘আ করতে থাকেন - ‘‘হে আল্লাহ! আপনি তার উপর রহমত বর্ষণ করুন এবং তার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করুন।’’ আর তোমাদের কেউ যতক্ষণ সালাতের অপেক্ষায় থাকে ততক্ষণ পর্যন্ত সে সালাতে রত বলে গণ্য হয়। (১৭৬) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৬১১, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The reward of the prayer offered by a person in congregation is twenty five times greater than that of the prayer offered in one's house or in the market (alone). And this is because if he performs ablution and does it perfectly and then proceeds to the mosque with the sole intention of praying, then for every step he takes towards the mosque, he is upgraded one degree in reward and his one sin is taken off (crossed out) from his accounts (of deeds). When he offers his prayer, the angels keep on asking Allah's Blessings and Allah's forgiveness for him as long as he is (staying) at his Musalla. They say, 'O Allah! Bestow Your blessings upon him, be Merciful and kind to him.' And one is regarded in prayer as long as one is waiting for the prayer
