। উম্মুল আলা (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি অসুস্থ হলে রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাকে দেখতে আসলেন। তিনি বললেনঃ হে আলার মা! সুসংবাদ গ্রহণ করো, আগুন যেভাবে সোনা-রূপার ময়লা দূর করে দেয় তদ্রুপ মহান আল্লাহ কোনো মুসলিমের রোগের দ্বারা তার গুনাহসমূহ দূর করে দেন।
Narrated Umm al-Ala:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) visited me while I was sick. He said: Be glad, Umm al-Ala' for Allah removes the sins of a Muslim for his illness as fire removes the dross of gold and silver
। আবূ মূসা (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে একবার দুইবার নয়, বহুবার বলতে শুনেছিঃ কোনো বান্দা নেক কাজ করলে এবং পরে রোগ বা সফর তাকে সে কাজ থেকে বিরত রাখলে তার আমলনামায় সুস্থ ও আবাসে অবস্থানকালে তার কৃত সৎ আমলের ন্যায় সওয়াব লেখা হবে।
Narrated Abu Musa:
I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) many times say: When a servant of Allah is accustomed to do a good work, then becomes ill or goes on journey, what was accustomed to do when he was well and staying at home will be recorded for him
। ‘আয়িশাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি বললাম, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! মহান আল্লাহর কিতাবের সবচেয়ে কঠোর আয়াতটি আমি অবশ্যই অবহিত আছি। তিনি জিজ্ঞেস করলেনঃ হে ‘আয়িশাহ! সেটি কোন্ আয়াত? তিনি বললেনঃ মহান আল্লাহর বাণীঃ ‘‘কেউ পাপ করলে তার প্রতিফল সেই পাবে এবং সে আল্লাহর বিপক্ষে কোনো বন্ধু ও সাহায্যকারী পাবে না।’’[সূরা আন-নিসাঃ ১২৩] তিনি বললেনঃ হে ‘আয়িশাহ! তুমি কি জনো, কোনো মুসলিম যখন বিপদগ্রস্ত বা নির্যাতিত হয়, এতে তার আমলের মন্দ দিকগুলো দূরীভূত হয়ে যায়। যে ব্যক্তির হিসাব নেয়া হবে সে মারা পড়বে বা শাস্তি পাবে। ‘আয়িশাহ (রাঃ) বললেন, আল্লাহ কি বলেননি, ‘‘যার আমলনামা তার ডান হাতে দেয়া হবে তার হিসাব সহজে গ্রহণ করা হবে।’’[সূরা আল-ইনশিকাক্বঃ ৮] তিনি বললেনঃ হে ‘আয়িশাহ এর অর্থ আমল পেশ করা।
Narrated 'Aishah:
I said: Messenger of Allah, I know the severest verse in the Qur'an. He asked: What is that verse. A'ishah? She replied: Allah's words: "If anyone does evil, he will be requited for it." He said: Do you know A'ishah, that when a believer is afflicted with a calamity or a thorn, it serves as an atonement for his evil deed. He who is called to account will be punished. She said: Does Allah not say: "He truly will recieve an easy reckoning." He said: This is the presentation, A'ishah. If anyone criticized in reckoning, he will be punished. Abu Dawud said: This is the version of Ibn Bashshar. He said: Ibn Abi Mulaikah narrated to us
। মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু খালিদ (রহঃ) থেকে তার পিতা ও দাদার সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি (দাদা) রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর সাহচর্য লাভ করেছেন। তিনি বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছিঃ কোনো ব্যক্তির জন্য বিনাশ্রমে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে মর্যাদার আসন নির্ধারিত হলে আল্লাহ তার দেহ, সম্পদ অথবা সন্তানকে বিপদগ্রস্ত করেন। অতঃপর সে তাতে ধৈর্য ধারণ করলে শেষ পর্যন্ত বরকতময় মহান আল্লাহ কর্তৃক নির্ধারিত উক্ত মর্যাদার স্তরে উপনীত হয়।
Narrated Muhammad ibn Khalid as-Sulami:
on his father's authority said his grandfather reported: He was a Companion of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: When Allah has previously decreed for a servant a rank which he has not attained by his action, He afflicts him in his body, or his property or his children. Abu Dawud said: Ibn Nufail added in his version: "He then enables him to endure that." The agreed version goes: "So that He may bring him to the rank previously decreed from him by Allah
