। ‘আদী ইবনু হাতিম (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ তুমি যদি আল্লাহর নাম নিয়ে তোমার তীর ছুঁড়ো এবং ঐ শিকারকৃত পশু পরের দিন এমন অবস্থায় পাও যে, তা পানিতে পড়েনি এবং তাতে তোমার তীরের আঘাত ছাড়া অন্য কোনো চিহ্নও নেই, তবে তা খাও। আর যদি তোমার প্রশিক্ষণপ্রাপ্ত কুকুরের সাথে অন্য কুকুর দেখো তাহলে শিকার খেও না। কেননা তুমি অবহিত নয় যে, হয় তো অন্য কোনো কুকুর শিকার হত্যা করেছে।
Narrated 'Adi b. Hatim:
The Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: When you shoot your arrow and mention Allah's name, and you find it (the game) after a day, and you do not find it in water, and you find in it only the mark of you arrow, eat (it). But if another dog joins your dogs, do not eat it, for you do not know maybe the one which was not yours has killed it
। ‘আদী ইবনু হাতিম (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ তুমি কোনো কুকুর বা বাজ পাখি প্রশিক্ষণ দিয়ে শিকারে পাঠালে এবং আল্লাহর নাম স্মরণ করলে- সে তোমার জন্য যা ধরে আনবে তা খেতে পারো। আমি বলি, যদি সে তা মেরে ফেলে? তিনি বললেনঃ সে যদি শিকার হত্যা করে এর কোনো অংশ না খায়, তবে সে তা তোমার জন্যই শিকার করেছে। আবূ দাঊদ (রহঃ) বলেন, বাজ পাখি শিকারের কিছু খেলে অসুবিধা নেই। কুকুর শিকার থেকে খেলে তা খাওয়া নিষেধ, তবে কেবল রক্ত পান করলে তা খাওয়া দূষণীয় নয়।
Narrated Adi ibn Hatim:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Eat what ever is caught for you by a dog or a hawk you have trained and set off when you have mentioned Allah's name. I said: (Does this apply) if it killed (the animal)? He said: When it kills it without eating any of it, for it caught it only for you. Abu Dawud said: If a hawk eats any of it, there is no harm (in eating it). If a dog eats it, it is disapproved (to eat the meat). If it drinks blood, there is no harm (in eating it)
। ‘আদী ইবনু হাতিম (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে জিজ্ঞেস করি, ‘আমরা এসব কুকুর দ্বারা শিকার করে থাকি। তিনি আমাকে বললেনঃ যখন তোমার প্রশিক্ষণপ্রাপ্ত কুকুরগুলো আল্লাহর নাম নিয়ে শিকারে পাঠাবে, সেগুলো তোমার জন্য যা ধরে আনবে তা খাও, এমন কি শিকার মেরে ফেললেও। কুকুর যদি তা থেকে না খেয়ে থাকে তাহলে খাও। আর যদি খেয়ে থাকে তবে খেও না। কেননা আমার আশঙ্কা হচ্ছে, ঐ শিকার সে নিজের জন্য ধরেছে।
Narrated 'Adi b. Hatim:
I asked the Messenger of Allah. I said: We hunt with these dogs. He replied: When you set off your dog and mention Allah's name over it, eat what it catches for you, even if it kills it, except that the dog has eaten (any of it); if the dog has eaten (any of it), do not eat, for Im afraid it has caught it only for itself
